Presentation Of Wool
The improvement of the presentation of the New Zealand wool clip is the objective behind the move of the New Zealand Stock and Station Agents’ Association in calling for applications for a fully qualified wool officer to
act as an advisory inspector. It is understood that this action is one result of the report presented by a three-man delegation. under the auspices of the association, which travelled widely overseas recently to study what happens to New Zealand’s wool clip. The aim is to achieve as great a degree of standardisation as possible among brokers in respect of quality and length. Standardisation in length is considered to be particularly important, in view of the great diversity in the length of wools being marketed these days, especially in the North Island.
