THIS WHITE HEIFER CALF is a Charolais-Friesian cross. It is one of the Charolais-cross calves born in the last few days on the Centrewood property of Mr J. M. Sutherland at Waimate. The mother, grazing beside her calf, was inseminated with Charolais semen imported from Britain. At birth the calf weighed 93lb.
