Support For Port Loans
(N.Z. Press Association' WELLINGTON, Aug. 18. The Exports and Shipping Council will support harbour boards seeking loan money for port development work. This was announced after a meeting of the council. At least seven harbour boards are promoting loan empowering bills during the present session of Parliament. After passage of these bills the harbour boards will apply to the Local Authorities Loans Board for approval to raise loan money. The council will make representations to the Ministers concerned, and ask for priority consideration for the loans.
