Tobacco Tax
Suggestion (N.I. Press Association) WELLINGTON, August 19. A suggestion that the cost of advertising tobacco and cigarettes be disallowed as a deductable expense for income tax purposes will be referred to the Minister of Finance (Mr Lake). Mr H. G. R. Mason (Opp., New Lynn) made the suggestion in a question to the Minister of Health (Mr McKay) in Parliament
