‘lnsurgency’ In Otago
To combat "increasing insurgency” the authorities in Otago have requested militaryassistance from Canterbury. So on Saturday, No. 3 Infantry Brigade Group will be sent to Otago. The peace in Otago has not been disturbed. This situation merely provides the setting for a weekend exercise which will involve the flying of three utility vehicles, trailers and 20 officers and men of No. 3 Infantry Brigade Group headquarters to Dunedin. In conjunction with officers from units in Dunedin they will conduct an outdoor exercise.
