Consolidated net profit of Peko Wallsend Investments lumped by 313,898 dollars or 30.4 per cent to a record 1,346,810 dollars, for the year ended July 5. Dividend is raised from 15 to 16 per cent with a final 8 per cent. Earning rate rises from 25.1 per cent to 32.7 per cent on steady paid capital. The company’s interests embrace gold, copper and coal mining. It is also joint owner, with Coffs Harbour Rutile N.L. of Rutile and Zircon Mines (Newcastle).
