(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Aug. 19. It might be necessary, much as it was disliked by the Labour Party, to continue overseas borrowing if a Labour government was elected in November, the leader of the Opposition (Mr Kirk) said today. Speaking at a meeting of the council of the Publice Service Association, Mr Kirk said Labour would not wish to take sudden drastic action. It would set a balancerestoring course to the economy.
