‘GREAT STEP’
Commission On Power (From Our Own Reporter! WELLINGTON, Aug. 17. A national commission to reorganise electricity supply could be the greatest step forward in nearly 40 years of power distribution, the Minister of Electricity (Mr Shand) s»id tonight. He was commenting on a report by the reorganisation committee of the Electrical Supply Authorities’ Association, which recommended such a commission, “I welcome this suggestion as a very considerable advance,” Mr Shand said.
