Businesses Burgled
Five new truck tyres, valued at £l2O. were stolen from the International Harvester Company of New Zealand. Ltd, Blenheim road, on Wednesday evening. Crockery’, cutlery and kitchen utensils, worth £9l were stolen from Upper Riccarton Hardware. 3 Waimairi road, when it was burgled the same night A safe containing £7OO in cheques and £3O in money was removed from the Belfast Garage, Ltd., 13 Main North road, when it was burgled on Wednesday night. The small safe was carried from the garage out the front door after entry had been made at the back of the building. One thousand cigarettes were stolen from the garage a fortnight ago.
