THIS VIET CONG SUSPECT, shown being interrogated by a United States officer, was picked up in a small boat 40 miles south-east of Saigon during a naval patrol of the South China Sea. His papers said he was born in 1942 and had no record of military service. In spite of this, he was handed over to the South Vietnamese authorities. Small craft in the South China Sea are regularly checked by the United States Navy in an attempt to stop the flow of supplies to the Viet Cong.
