Flooding In Scotland (N .Z.P. A.-Reuter—Copyright > GLASGOW, August 14. Scottish workmen battled under floodlights tonight to reopen roads and railway lines blocked in sudden summer flooding at the week-end. In the lowlands near Sanquhar three crane crews worked to clear the main England-Scotland railway line blocked early today when a landslide derailed 13 coaches of the night express. In other parts of Scotland the downpours swept away cars and cattle, washed out camping and caravan sites and flooded many buildings.
