10,000 ‘Hawk-eye Guys’

Press Association) There will be 10,000 "Hawkeeye guys” among the crowd of more than 25,000 expected to watch Hawke s Bay play the Lions at McLean Park, Napier, on August 20 The "Hawke-eye guys” will be wearers of the 10.000 hats given by a Hawke s Bay footj processing manufacturer to the Hawke's Bay Rugby Supporters' Club. Hawk-Eye is the large magpie mascot of the Hawkes Bay Rugby team and the hats carry I the slogan: “I m a Hawk-eye jguy.” About 5000 of the hats were .supplied to Hawkes Bay supporters when Hawke s Bay challenged Taranaki for the Ran furly Shield last season Tlie hats will be distributed free at the ground The Hawke s Bay Rugby team to play Canterbury at Nelson Park.
