A strong bid for honours in the Piatigorsky Cup international chess tournament is being made by Bobby Fischer (United States), winner of four successive matches. Fischer defeated Jan Donner (Holland) in 29 moves on Sunday. The only other game finished in the 13th round on Sunday was the contest between the world champion, Tigran Petrosian (Russia) and Borislav Ivkov (Jugoslavia) which ended in a draw.
