IMPORTANCE OF DEBATING

Support For A Resurgence Debating and public speaking had an important role in the community, the DeputyMayor (Mr H. P. Smith) said when opening the thirty-third annual Canterbury Federated Debating Society’s competi tions. Mr Smith said that both he and the Mayor (Mr G.
