Tourist’s Money Stolen In Hotel
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, August 9. Mr J. McNamara, an English journalist touring with the British Rugby league team, had money and personal effects worth £650 stolen from his fourth-floor bedroom in a Wellington hotel yester day. Mr McNamara had clothing, a camera, English, Australian and New Zealand money and travellers’ cheques taken between 4.30 p.m. and 11.30 p.m.
