Mulcare Withdraws
The Marist second-row forward, L. Mulcare (right) has withdrawn from the Canterbury Rugby League team to play Great Britain at the Show Grounds on Saturday and has been replaced by his club-mate, M. H. Mohi. Mulcare injured his back playing against Sydney Universities on Sunday. He was playing his second match for Canterbury this season following his recall to representative football for the first time since 1955, and had become the outstanding forward on defence. Since 1960 Mohi has played 27 matches for Canterbury—■ including five this season—l three for South Island,'
one for New Zealand Maoris against Britain in 1962 and was unfortunate to miss the tour of Britain and France past year after a good per'formance in the trial.
