Clarke Snubbed

KINGSTON. R. Clarke of Australia was snubbed by K. Keino of Kenya immediately after their three-mile battle last night. After the race Keino ran slowly round the track an extra time waving his arms in the air to the cheers of the crowd. As he came around to the finish line again Clarke walked out to shake hands with him. The Kenyan ignored Clarke and jogged past.
Clarke walked back to the side of the track and sat down. “I walked oxer to him to congratulate him and he wouldn't eten speak to me.” Clarke said. Clarke appeared quite upset at Keino’s action and Mt dejectedly on the cycling track putting on his track suit. Later, however, when Keino was In the Interview room Clarke came in and the two talked over the race with reporters together.
