Town Hall Fund
The sum of £4200 has been received for Town Hall Promotion since the new fundraising effort began. The honorary treasurer of Town Hall Promotion (Mr L. A. G. Rich), said yesterday that £l2OO had been received since the last announcement 10 days ago. In addition £llOO in cash had been received from past promises. Mr Rich said it was expected that a number of businesses would soon make decisions. There was often a delay in the holding of board meetings.

Paterson and Co., Ltd., £100; Mrs and the late Mr J. J. Stevens, £100: A. and T. Burt, Ltd., £100: Canterbury Bye Products, Ltd., £100; Mrs K. Ballantyne, £100: Associated Meat Buyers, Ltd., £100; G. L. Bowron and Co., Ltd., £5O; James Shand and Co., Ltd.. £5O; T. J. Ed-, monds, Ltd., £5O: Royal Christ-1 church Musical Society (second donation). £5O: W. H , Price and Son, Ltd., £25. 1
