The Greymouth Chamber of Commerce is in favour of righting an anomaly in the Workers’ Compensation Act which says that no compensation is payable if a New Zealander on a business trip overseas is killed or injured in an accident unless he is travelling in a New Zealand aircraft! or ship at the time.
