Robert Earl For Riccarton
AUCKLAND Robert Earl, a Te Rapa candidate for the Grand National Hurdles on Tuesday week, wilt begin his trip south with Petrr George next Monday. The t«o horses will go to Picton on Tuesday and will continue bv road to Christchurch. Robert Earl will be ridden by P. R. Wilson. Wilson intended to ride at the Christchurch Hunt races at the week end, but has now decided to forego the trip. In the Grand National Steeplechase Wilson has been engaged for Bush Creek. The Te Rapa rider. R J. Walsh, who is leading In points for the Bren Langford memorial trophy, has been engaged for Confer in the Grand National Hurdles and the Jumpers' Flat.
