Tired Of Speeding

.X’ Z. Press Association* HAMILTON, July 28.

Some Tokoroa citizens have decided to take the law into their own bands to restrict the speed of traffic through the town.

Four 30 m.p.h. limit signs have been placed on the main highway at the entrances to the town.

This is the strip of road where many serious

accidents have occurred in the last four years since it became a limited speed zone.

Feeling was aroused by the last fatal accident, and a meeting of service clubs and doctors requested the National Roads Board to consider urgently the formation of a cycle track and a footpath, adequate lighting, and a review of the speed restriction.
