Vigour Picked To Win At Marton

PALMERSTON NORTH. Vigour, which heads the Gatrell Handicap field with only 8-3, is expected to win the first leg of the Rangitikei Hunt Club's T.A.B. double at Marton tomorrow. He is in good form after a third in much stronger company at T rentham. Happy Billy and Caplin, which fought out a close finish in the middle-distance hack event last Wednesday at Levin, are almost certain to figure prominently again in the Flockhart Hack Cup and they are sure to be heavily backed in the second leg of the double.
