Honorary Doctorate
The honorary degree of doctor of laws will be conferred on Mr T. C. Sorensen when he speaks at the University of Canterbury on August 16. As the first John F. Kennedy Memorial Fellow he will speak on “The World-wide Kennedy Legacy.” Mr Sorensen is a graduate of the University of Nebraska. He became assistant to Mr Kennedy w’hen he was junior senator for Massachusetts and became a special counsel to him when he became president. Mr Sorensen is now in private law prac-! tice in New York.
