W. Indians Barracked
(N.Z P A.-Reuter—Copyright) LONDON. The West Indian cricketers were barracked at Lord’s yesterday when they crawled to 70 for three wickets in 143 minutes after dismissing the M.C.C. President’s XI for 164 on the first day of a three-day match. The chief offender during the West Indian run-crawl was R. Brancker, who took 75 minutes to score his first four runs, and spent 107 minutes over 13.
