N.Z. ’Chute Champion ♦N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) LEIPZIG. New Zealand’s one-man skydiving team landed on the seat of his pants on Wednes- : day, but said he had never felt i better H. Hudson, aged 30, a welder, from Katikati and New Zealand’s parachute champion, had just made his second of four jumps in the men’s target division at the eighth world championships at Mockau airport, Leipzig. He stretched both legs in an attempt to get as close to the target as possible and landed with a thud in a sitting position. “When I’m going for the target," he said afterwards, “I don’t eare how I hit as long as I hit close in.” He landed just short of the X-target. Accuracy jumps are made from 1000 metres and the jumper must open his parachute within 10 seconds or be penalised.
