(N.Z. Prttt Ann. —Copyright) SYDNEY. The president of the Australian Commonwealth Games Association (Sir Harry Aiderson) flew to Melbourne yesterday to discuss an application by Melbourne authorities to hold the 1974 Empire Games.
He said in Sydney that New Zealand and Scotland had applied for the 1970 games. Melbourne was the site of the 1956 Olympic Games.
