FELL OFF SCOOTER
A couple were injured when they fell from a motorscooter at the roundabout at the intersection of Deans avenue and Riccarton road about 5.30 p.m. yesterday. Mr V. Batty, of 4 Oakhurst place, suffered leg injuries and was admitted to Christchurch hospital, where his condition last evening was reported as satisfactory. His wife was treated at the hospital for hand injuries.
