First To Swim Loch Ness
(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter— Copyright) INVERNESS (SCOTLAND), July 28. Brenda Sheratt, aged 18, of Macclesfield, today became the first person to swim Loch Ness, home of Scotland’s legendary monster. She took more than 30 hours to swim the 221-mile long loch, which has defied many of Britain’s long distance male swimmers.
