Courses For Airmen

Thirty-seven members of No. 6 officer cadet course at the Royal New Zealand Air Force base at Wigram will spend three days in weapon firing practices at West Melton next week under the direction of Squadron Leader, P. J. McKay. The officer cadets will fire rifles, Sten and Bren guns, and pistols. From August to August 13 pupil pilots from No. 43 pilots’ course will fly from Wigram to Ohakea for train, ing in air gunnery and bombing techniques. With them will go a number of flying training wing instructors. Squadi on Leader J, L. N. Harris will be in charge of the detachment. On Monday 27 recruits and general service instructors left Wigram for West Melton for three days of field exercises.
