Error In Report
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, July 27. In a Press Association report of a statement made in Parliament yesterday by the Prime Minister (Mr Holyoake) the word "not’’ was inadvertently omitted. Referring to a telephone discussion he had had with the Director of Security on assignments given a security agent, Mr D. Godfrey, Mr Holyoake said “In fairness to the Director of Security I should say that he has since said that he did not give such an assurance, so obviously the director and I were speaking at cross purposes."
