BIG BUTTER CHURN FOR AUSTRALIA.—This 12-ton butter churn has been made by Andersons, Ltd., of Christchurch, for the Maffra Co-operative Milk Producers’ Company, Ltd., of Victoria. The churn is the fifth of its type to be manufactured by the firm, the other four being installed at the recentlycompleted dairy factory at Morrinsville. The churn was designed by Mr R. L. Stevens, of Andersons, Ltd., and can produce 72501b of butter in two hours. Mr Stevens (left) and the churn foreman, Mr K. Tremain, are shown by the churn.
