GERIATRIC UNIT
Proposal For Siting The proposed 60-bed geriatric unit and medical assessment unit at Princess Margaret Hospital may be built on a flat area immediately west of the hospital with a connecting corridor as a permanent link. This proposal was made to the North Canterbury Hospital Board yesterday by its planning group. Its report said the matter had been discussed with the Health Department, which had authorised further investigations into the proposed site.
