GIFT TO HOSPITAL
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, July 24. Sir Charles Norwood has given New Zealand’s first diasonoscope for neuro-surgery diagnosis to Wellington Hospital. The £l2OO machine will be used to assess brain damage. Sir Charles Norwood said too many hospitals were “just taken for granted” by the community. “In any settlement” Sir Charles Norwood said, "the founding of a hospital is of prime importance.” Sir Charles Norwood said that he would like to see all hospitals with sufficient equipment to give the medical fraternity “every chance” with its work.
