Unpopular 100th Win

The trainer, J. B. (Bart) Cummings, was the target of the worst demonstration on an Adelaide racecourse for 50 years on Saturday when his charge, Strollalong, gave him his 100th win for the season. Strollalong, whose form has been poor lately, won the Hayhurst Handicap for three-year-olds at Morphettville, beating the Chatsworth llsired Ripple. A Le Filou three-year-old gelding. Red Handed, completed a hat-trick at Morphettville by winning the 10-fur-long Sir Stanley Murray Handicap on a heavy track. It was Red Handed’s first run since winning over 13 furlongs at Victoria Park on June 13.
