Candidate For Waitaki
(N.Z. Press Association) OAMARU, July 24. Mr S. J. Rodger, a Wellington man, has been chosen as the Labour Party candidate for Waitaki. Mr Rodger, an administrative officer with the Ministry of Works, is a former vicepresident of the Public Service Association.
He contested the Otago Central electorate for Labour at the last election.
