Holmbrae To Be Sold
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, July 17. The sale of the Holmbrae to a Pacific Islands firm is being negotiated with her owners. Holm and Company The 391-ton Holmbrae was built as the River City in 1951. She was formerly owned by toe Wanganui Shipping Company. She hm completed more than 500 round trips between the North and South Islands. The manager of the Holm Shipping Company (Captain J. Holm) said today that she was now “too small and too slow” for the trade.
