RESEARCH IN WOOL

Ph.D. Holders Sought The Wool Research Organisation at Lincoln is looking for holders of doctorates of philosophy. The director of the organisation (Mr N. F. Roberts) said that the organisation was wanting to recruit three or four holders of doctorates of philosophy in chemistry or physics and especially if they had had any experience with textiles. This might be an opportunity for New Zealand graduates abroad who would like to return home, he said. The organisation had been trying to recruit in England a graduate in textile science to assist in the carpet field and while it was continuing to try to find such a person it was thought that someone might have to be sent to the textile school at the University of New South Wales for training, he said.
