Fares ‘Not Highest 9
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, July 17. The statement that the increased bus fares in Wellington would be the highest in the country was not true, the general manager of the Wellington City Passenger Transport Department (Mr R. H Pritchard) said. ' Mr Pritchard said Dunedin bus fares were slightly higher than the new Wellington fares. “I haven’t gone into bus fares of the other centres, but they could be higher still.” Mr Pritchard said.
