Volunteers For Vietnam (N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) WARSAW, July 17. The Polish Communist Party Leader, Mr Gomulka, said yesterday that many Poles have offered to join a Communist volunteer force in ! Vietnam. Since the Warsaw Pact powers raised the idea of a i volunteer force in their July ! 7 Bucharest declaration, .‘‘many in Poland have al- , ready asked how they can en- . roll in a volunteer force for Vietnam,” Mr Gomulka said ; in a speech at Pulawy, south- ’ east Poland.
