TWO CARS COLLIDE
Elderly Man Killed <N.Z. Press Association) OPOTIKI, July 18. A man died shortly after being admitted, to Opotiki Hospital this afternoon as a result of head injuries received in a head-on collision between two cars in Opotiki at about 4.30 p.m. He was Angus Mac Kay MacDonald, aged about 80, a retired farmer of Otara, Opotiki. Mrs Winifred Evelyn MacDonald, his wife, received a fractured arm and was admitted to hospital. The driver of the other car, Mr Rangi Tutu Woodford, aged 28, a share milker of Toatoa, received minor injuries. His wife, Mrs R. Woodford, received head injuries. She was admitted to hospital, where her condition tonight was reported to be fair.
