Baillie Beaten Narrowly

(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) LONDON. The New Zealander, W. D. Baillie, was beaten by five yards in a two-mile race at the civil service sports in Dublin on Saturday. The race was won by D. Graham, of Belfast, in Bmin 38.6sec—4.58sec outside his own Irish record Baillie's time was Bmin 39sec. His fellow New Zealander, I. S. Studd, won the 1500metre event in 3min 53.65ec. Second was P. Lavelle, of Ireland, in 3min 57.55ec.
