Poverty Bay Beats Rotorua
(N.Z. Press Association) GISBORNE. Poverty Bay won the right to challenge for the Nordon Cup when it beat Rotorua 5-0 in a representative hockey match at Gisborne on Saturday. Poverty Bay was lucky to lead 1-0 at half-time, but in the second half its forwards completely dominated the game. The scorers were A. Hughes, P. Sisterston (2), W. Pere and A. Shephard.
