FIVE PASSENGERS INJURED

Five persons were injured when a car struck a parked car in Halswell Junction road late yesterday afternoon. Allan Aubrey Welsh and Jane Pamela Welsh, of 32 Lyndon street, suffered head injuries and shock. Daphne Violet Welsh, of 5 Springs road, suffered head injuries. Edith Grace Brookenshire, of 178 Wordsworth street, suffered shock, while Albert Wederall, of 22 Opawa road, suffered head injuries and shock. They were all treated at the Christchurch Hospital. Three Injured.—When two cars collided at the corner of St. Asaph and Manchester streets at 7.20 a.m. yesterday, three persons were injured. Barry Bishop, of 27 Richards

Car and Van Collide.— A. car and a van collided at the corner of Worcester street and Fitzgerald avenue at 12.23 a.m. yesterday. Ethel Reardon, of 191 Lyttelton street, was admitted to the Princess Margaret Hospital suffering from head injuries. Moana Pearl Wilke, of 29 Shackleton street, . suffered minor arm and back injuries and shock and Ruth' Cockcroft, of 29 Shackleton street, suffered minor head injuries. They were treated at the Christchurch Hospital. Hit Parked Truck.—Russell Henderson, of 22 Bennett street, and Ross Newton, of Hartley street, were treated at the Christchurch Hospital for minor injuries after a car

hit a parked truck in the early hours of yesterday. Car Rolls Over.—Head injuries were suffered by Richard Francis Wells, of 95 Idris road, when a car rolled over on the Main South road about 4.30 a.m. yesterday. He was treated at the Christchurch Hospital. Chertsey Accident.—Norman Leslie Pearce, aged 20, of Retreat road, was admitted to the Ashburton Hospital suffering from injuries to his left arm and hand after the car he was driving ran off the Main South road near Chertsey and overturned about 6.15 a.m. on Saturday. Two passengers in the car, Geoffrey William Parks, of Tankerville road, and Richard Kent Murray Calderwood, of Lyttelton street suffered minor injuries. Cyclist Injured.—Head injuries were suffered by Gaye

Fearon, of 29 Croziers road, when a cycle and a car collided at the corner of Cranford street and McFaddens road about 6.10 p.m. on Saturday. She was admitted to the Princess Margaret Hospital. Pedestrian Hurt—Peter lan Voyce, of 28 Taylors avenue, was treated at the Christchurch Hospital for leg injuries after he was struck by a car in Lichfield street about 7.15 p.m. on Saturday. Fell Off Motor-cycle.—Denis Michael Feeney, of 21 Windsor crescent was admitted to the Princess Margaret Hospital suffering from head injuries after he fell off a motor-cycle at the corner of Carlton Mill road and Rossall street about 6 p.m. on Saturday. Anthony Paul Robertson, of 134 Rossall street was treated at the Christchurch Hospital for head injuries.
