Subandrio For Trial
(N.Z. Press Assn. —Copyright) DJAKARTA, July 17. Indonesia’s AttorneyGeneral said yesterday that the Government has amassed enough evidence to bring to trial the former First Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister, Dr. Subandrio, who is now in gaol. Major-General Sughi Arto said that such evidence could be used to prosecute Dr. Subandrio on charges of political and economic crimes, and involvement in last October’s abortive Communist-backed coup. Dr. Subandrio has been under military detention since March 18, when the Army “strongman,” Lieuten-ant-General Suharto, arrested him and 17 other members of President Sukarno’s old Leftist-leaning Cabinet
