Penny For The Polyphoneum
OFFICIALS of Bolton Museum have bought an 80-year-old German polyphoneum which will play 18 tunes from the Victorian hit parade at a Id a time. The “records” are 3ft perforated steel discs, and a different one, such as “Little Dolly Daydream" or “Glorious Beer” will be put in the machine each week.
