VAN OVER BLUFF
Man Badly Hurt (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, June 27. A man is seriously ill in the Kawakawa Hospital and another has head injuries after a van plunged over a bluff between Paihia Beach and Waitangi late this afternoon. The police have not yet identified the man who is seriously ill. The man with head injuries is Michael David Johnstone, master of the freighter Crusader, which is berthed at Opua. A third man, the chief officer of the Crusader, Terrance Fergus Moran, was .not hurt.
