PUBLIC NOTICES CHRISTCHURCH DRAINAGE BOARD RATE NOTICE NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at a Special Meeting of the Christchurch Drainage Board called for that purpose and held at the Office of the North Canterbury Catchment Board In the City of Christchurch on the twenty-fourth day of May, 1966, the said Board DID RESOLVE AND DIRECT: THAT in pursuance of the powers vested In it by “The Christchurch District Drainage Act, 1951." by “The Rating Act. 1925," and by "The Valuation Equalisation Act, 1957," and of all other powers It in that behalf enabling THE CHRISTCHURCH DRAINAGE BOARD at a Special Meeting called for that purpose and held at the Office of the North Canterbury Catchment Board in the City of Christchurch on the Twentyfourth day of May, 1966, DOTH RESOLVE that general rates be made and levied for the purposes of "The Christchurch District Drainage Act, 1951,” upon the rateable property within the several areas hereinafter referred to and the said Board doth hereby fix the amounts of the said rates as follows: (a) For the purpose of providing. for the Board’s maintenance and other charges in respect of sewerage tn the several SEWERAGE AREAS known as CENTRAL SEWERAGE AREA, SUMNER SEWERAGE AREA, MOUNT PLEASANT SEWERAGE AREA, HEATHCOTE VALLEY SEWERAGE AREA, CASHMERE SEWERAGE AREA, NEW BRIGHTON SEWERAGE AREA and HORNBY SEWERAGE AREA, and defined In the First to Fifth Schedules Inclusive to the Resolution of the Board passed on the Twenty-second day of May, 1952, and the First and Second Schedules to a Resolution of the Board passed on the Twentieth day of March, 1956, and as added to by Resolutions of the Board bearing date the Seventeenth day of March, 1953, the Sixteenth day of March, 1954, the Fifteenth day of February. 1955, the Twentieth day of March, 1956, the Nineteenth day of February. 1957, the Eighteenth day of February, 1958, the Seventeenth day of February. 1959, the Sixteenth day of February, 1960, the Twentyfirst day of February, 1961, the Twentieth day of February, 1962, the Nineteenth day of February, 1963, the Eighteenth day of February, 1964, the Twentythird day of February, 1965, and the Twentysecond day of February. 1966 AT EIGHT HUNDRED AND FORTY NINE THREE THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY FIFTHS OF A PENNY (849/3125d) in the pound (£.001132 in the pound) upon the capital rateable value of the rateable property within such portion or portions of the said several sewerage areas as He within the City of Christchurch. AND the said Board DOTH FURTHER DIRECT that the period for which the said rates shall be made and levied shall be that commencing on the first day of April, 1966, and ending on the Thlrtyfirst day of March, 1967, and further that each of the said rates shall be payable in one sum on a date to be determined by the local bodies collecting the same respectively. AND NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that a meeting of the Board will be held at the office of the Christchurch Drainage Board. 233 Cambridge terrace, Christchurch, on Tuesday, 28th June,- 1966, at 8 p.m., to CONFIRM the said Resolution.
