Nicholas’s defence was faultless D. Reeve was the best Suburbs back outside Davis and Cottrell who both played wel' under sustained pressure from the Lincoln loose forwards. Lincoln’s forwards dominated the Hne-outs and shared the scrum* but lacked Suburbs’ fire. A J. Banks was well looker after by E. MuJlany but H Meech and D. Watts did well In set play.
