11 HURT ON ROADS

Six persons were admitted to Christchurch Hospital with injuries suffered in week-end accidents.

Knocked Down.—Head in-1 Juries were suffered by Adrienne Wain, of 20 Tiona place, when she was knocked down by a car at the corner of Worcester street and Oxford terrace. She was admitted to the hospital. Facial Abrasions.—David Farrant, of 27 St. John street, was treated at the hospital for facial abrasions after a truck and a bus collided on the Akaroa-Chri st church high way yesterday morning. Strack By Car.—Two pedestrians were injured when they were struck by a car in 1 Cathedral square outside the Post Office at 6.20 p.m. on Saturday. Gwen Dannondy,

of 142 Aikmans road, was admitted to the hospital with leg injuries. Alison McMillan, of 248 Worcester street, was treated for an ankle abrasion.

Car Hits Pole.—When a car hit a pole at the comer ot Station and Martindale roads about 11.30 p.m. on Saturday, Jessica Pauline Griffin, of Duvauchelle, suffered facial abrasions and Terrence Michael Hewinson, of Worcester street, suffered head injuries. Both were treated at Christchurch Hospital.

Fell Off Cycle.—-Douglas Grafton, of 14 England street, was admitted to the hospital with facial lacerations after he fell off a cycle in England street on Saturday evening. Woman Injured.—Marion

Buckley, of 14 Radley street, was admitted to the hospital with head injuries and concussion after two cars col-

lided at the corner of London and Perth streets at 11.25 a.m. on Saturday. Admitted To HospitalAfter she fell off a motorscooter at the corner of Prestons and Burwood roads about 4.30 p.m. on Saturday, Norma Gladys Curry, of 11 Carlsen street, was admitted to Christchurch Hospital with head injuries.

Head Injuries.-—Samuel Michael Price, of 60 Curletts road, was knocked unconscious when a car hit a pole in Harper avenue about 6.30 a.m. yesterday. He was admitted to Christchurch Hospital with head injuries. Cyclist Injured.—Head injuries were suffered by Glen Harris, of 35 Courtney street, when his cycle and a car collided in Courtney street about 3.30 pan. on Saturday. He was treated at Christchurch Hospital.
