Nothing Is Changed
T DO not take the view that x life is different at different times; it is circumstances that are different. But the experience of living seems to me to be approximately the same. That is why if I read Homer, if I read Shakespeare, if I read Dr. Johnson, if I read the contemporary writers, I’m reading about the same thing— I’m reading about life, although the actual circumstances of life for those people are completely different.—Malcolm Muggeridge.
